Anglican Evening Prayer

THE SERVICES The 8:45 a.m. worship service is more traditional. The liturgy is followed in a printed program with a mixture of ancient and modern hymns. It is approximately 70 minutes in length. The 11 a.m. worship service is more contemporary. The liturgy is followed on two projection screens with hymns set to modern accompaniment and the newest songs of praise. Palm Sunday services

April 5

The congregation participates as part of the initial procession, beginning in the south parking lot and processing through the Garth and into the Sanctuary, recalling Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. In place of our normal lectionary readings and Gospel procession, the congregation participates in the reenactment of Jesus’ betrayal, trials and crucifixion through a corporate reading of selected portions of the Gospel of Matthew. Treasured Girls Study

The “tween” years are a critical transition period in the life of a young girl. Treasured is a six-session study designed to connect moms and daughters with engaging content around the following topics: identity, body, emotions, friendships, technology and faith. The study is for girls, ages 9-11, and meets from 5:45-7:30 p.m., every other Sunday, beginning March 1 and ending May 3.

Maundy Thursday

On Maundy Thursday the church begins a three-day remembrance of Christ’s passion, culminating in a celebration of his resurrection on Easter.
