Special Needs Ministry
Extraordinary Lives (XL) is St. Andrew’s ministry to students and young adults with disabilities. We desire for every person to know that they are uniquely created in God’s image. We welcome and encourage those with special needs and their families to join us in our second worship service (if able). During the sermon, when the children leave for KREW Cuts, special needs students and young adults break out for their own small group time for a time of teaching, with a scripture lesson is based on that day’s sermon scripture, and community building. They return to their families during the announcements.
If you have other special requirements that keep your family from being able to attend Sunday morning worship, please contact Kay Michael. We are happy to meet with families and work together to create a Sunday morning scenario that works best for everyone.
YOUNGLIFE CAPERNAUM CLUB
St. Andrew’s also partners with Little Rock’s YoungLife organization to host Cpaernaum Club every other Thursday. Capernaum is a ministry to teens and young adults with special needs. At each meeting, young adults have dinner, play games, enjoy skits, music and a Gospel message.
