Special Needs Ministry
Below you’ll find information about what our ministry for teens and young adults with special needs normally looks like. We have, obviously, had to change some of our processes and protocols to adjust to the ongoing global pandemic. For information about how our services are different right now, click here.
Extraordinary Lives (XL) is St. Andrew’s ministry to students and young adults with disabilities. We desire for every person to know that they are uniquely created in God’s image. We welcome and encourage those with special needs and their families to join us in our second worship service (if able). During the sermon, when the children leave for KREW Cuts, special needs students and young adults break out for their own small group time for a time of teaching, with a scripture lesson is based on that day’s sermon scripture, and community building. They return to their families during the announcements.
YOUNGLIFE CAPERNAUM CLUB
St. Andrew’s also partners with Little Rock’s YoungLife organization to host Cpaernaum Club every other Thursday. Capernaum is a ministry to teens and young adults with special needs. At each meeting, young adults have dinner, play games, enjoy skits, music and a Gospel message.
