AN INVITATION TO

A Day of Prayer & Fasting

Monday, January 5

As our St. Andrews Church family embarks upon the new 2026 year together, you’re invited to set aside Monday, January 5 to spend time in prayer & fasting for our church. As we seek to grow deeper in relationship with the Lord and one another, and to see His plans, purposes & glory accomplished we must do the greater work of prayer and fasting. You can participate on this day as an individual, a couple, with family, friends or discipleship groups. Consider fasting for the day or a meal, sweets, etc. Let’s access all that’s in God’s heart for our church through prayer. A Prayer Guide will be available at the Welcome Desk next Sunday.

Baptism Sunday

Sunday, January 11 | Both services

We will be celebrating the sacrament of baptism on Sunday, January 11. If you would like to be baptized, or have your child baptized, either at the font or through immersion, contact Jennifer no later than Tuesday, December 16.

Perspectives

Sundays, January 11–May 3, 2026  |  5-8 p.m.  |  Commons

Perspectives is an awe-inspiring comprehensive course that has profoundly impacted hundreds of thousands of students during the past 45+ years. From Genesis to the prophets, Jesus to the early Church, and St. Augustine to the present, students learn how God moves, how the global Church responds, and the remaining task of world evangelization.

Perspectives isn’t a course solely about world missions. It’s a study program rooted in Scripture clarifying each believer’s remarkable opportunity to co-labor with God in his global purpose.

Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a 15-lesson discipleship class designed to help believers from all walks of life regardless of age, gender or vocation learn how they can get threaded into God’s story of redeeming people from every tribe, tongue and nation to himself.

The spring semester of Perspectives begins on January 11 at 5 p.m. in the Commons. The cost, including dinner each night, is $275/person ($100 discount for the first 20 St. Andrew’s people who register using the code SAC100-025196). Sign up in 2025 and get an additional $30 off with the code EBIRD-024585. Register via the QR code or the link on our website.

Childcare vouchers are available by request by emailing Beka LeMaster.

The first session is free to try out, but they do ask that you sign up so they can have an accurate headcount.

Sunday, January 18 | 6-7:30 p.m.

Are you new to St. Andrew’s? If so, you are invited you to the Newcomers’ Dessert on Sunday, January 18, from 6-7:30 p.m. for a casual time of dessert and fellowship. Children and youth of families are also invited to attend and have a special time of dessert and play with family ministries. To RSVP or for more information, contact Jessie Smith.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Sermon on the Mount

Thursdays, February 5–March 19  |  Commons
Two times: 10-11:30 a.m.
6-7:30 p.m.

The Sermon on the Mount is one of Jesus’ most well-known teachings, yet it’s not so well-understood. By listening carefully to each verse in context, we will aim to better understand Jesus’ unconventional wisdom, the true path to the good life God intended. For more information, contact Ann Clardy.

On-site childcare is available for the morning session only. Middle and high school girls are invited to join the evening study as well! Register via the links below:
